#kanagi x momoko is actually a great ship

I just finished the rerun of Halloween Castle of Prayer and Mourning and I’m literally crying rn.

a) Kanagi is so autistic she just wants to understand other people so bad

Mitama x Momoko and/or Mitama x Kanagi? Personally pretty torn over which one is better but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Mitama x Momoko or Kanagi: C+, cute ships that don’t seem bad at all

Sorry to disappoint, but I don’t have much of an opinion on Mitama shipping. Not because I dislike her, but it’s hard for me to see her as anything but a gremlin chugging down ketchup/mustard tea while trolling all her friends with her bad sense of humor, and even worse cooking.

While that sounds like an insult to Mitama (and it sorta is), please understand that I actually do like her. She’s a fun character. But being “fun” doesn’t necessarily lend a character well to shipping.

I will say Mitama’s interactions with Momoko and Kanagi are both pretty good when we see them. That hair brush scene in episode 3 of the anime still sticks with me to this day. A very cute, small moment that communicates a lot. Love that shit. Kanagi and Mitama’s interactions are also great, as we see them come to grips with flagrant and unwarranted classism by West Kamihama.

I feel like I’d need to see more serious interactions though between either of them (outside of flashbacks), for me to feel more motivated about shipping Mitama, or even picking which ship I like more.
